I have put over 8,000 miles on this bike in the past 7-8 months and it has been a pleasure to ride.  If looking for this type of bike, you can't go wrong.  The motor is smooth but is not as perky as the GSXR.  It does have some more vibration than the in line 4 and you have to pay more attention to your gear selection to get the most out of this motor but it will get up and go if you need it to.  The 03 model is cramped for riders over 6 ft but I changed the footpegs which lowered and set the pegs back 1 inch and that made all the difference.  I also bought some fingerless gloves which have gel in the palms and that makes the vibration and the pressure on the hands much easier to endure.  Higher handlebars can be purchased to set the rider up more but I have found that I do not need them.  My longest day trip was 500 miles, I was tired but could have gone more.  I look forward to many more miles on this bike in the next few years.     :biggrin

Well my last post was 9 months ago and I had about 16000 miles on my bike.  I now have almost 25,000 miles on her and she is still going strong.   Other than oil changes, new tires and chain/sprokets, I have had to do little to this bike.  I'll probably keep iot another year then I hope I have enough pennines to buy myself another Goldwing. punk
